The role of Business Partner - Commercial, will be responsible for leading on the financial aspects of the councils ambitious commercial activities and major projects.

You will report to the Assistant Manager – Financial Accountant, and will be expected to proactively liaise with officers across the Councils on key projects, providing financial advice and challenge.

This role will be required to prepare cashflow projections, monitor spend against budgets, prepare budgets, prepare companies accounts including group accounts for the Councils. As well as feeding into the Councils capital and investment strategy including advising on the relevant impacts of the commercial activity on the Councils strategies.
