This is an exciting opportunity for creative and motivated individuals to join a Contract and Service Development Team, to ensure quality services for the people of Suffolk.

Strategic Planning and Resources (SPAR)

These posts are all in the SPAR team and are an additional support to manage the Covid-19 pandemic. The focus of this team will be to ensure that we have in place consistent and responsive service for the care market particularly on testing arrangements. You will be part of a wide team and will contribute to ensuring consistent quality and safe services are being delivered to our service users. Working in partnership with all sectors of the care market and key stakeholders you will be expected to take an inclusive and flexible approach.

You will:

  • be part of the team that is helping you to steer our approach to testing
  • liaise with a care market that includes home care, residential and nursing care, extra care housing, supported housing schemes, housing related support and day services
  • develop a positive working relationship with providers
  • work in partnership across Suffolk County Council and with key stakeholders such as the CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group), Public Health England and testing organisations.

You must be able to work to cover the contracts helpdesk for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday (on a rota, so not every weekend).
