An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Suffolk County Council (SCC) Adult and Community Services as an Executive PA, working from Endeavour House, Ipswich.

We are looking for an Executive PA to support our Director of Adult and Community Services. If you are keen to be at the centre of things and enjoy a fast paced approach to working this might be the job for you.

You will join the Business Management Team who will support and encourage you in your new role. 

Your role 

It is a demanding, fast paced, forward thinking role and you will need enthusiasm and great organisational skills to make the most of this role. You will be joining at a time when the Director is also fairly new to role and so you can explore the role and tasks together. This is an exciting opportunity to join ACS.

You will need 

  • excellent IT skills with a digital approach to all new work
  • confidence to work with all staff, councillors and partners on behalf of the Director
  • to be able to work on your own initiative, and ensure work is moved onto the correct people
  • excellent diary management experience and skills
  • good communication skills for a wide range of audiences and formats
  • to be proactive
  • to be well organised.

The team 

You will be part of the Business Management Team but work directly with the Directly on a day to day basis.

You will be joining a friendly flexible and supportive team. 

If you like being at the centre of things, working with the Director and our team will place you in the right setting.

Travelling requirements for your role

Infrequent Travel - This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but on occasions, there may be a requirement for you to travel using reasonable and suitable means available to you and agreed by the authority.
