We are looking to recruit a Learning Systems Officer to join our busy Workforce Development (WFD) Learning Systems team.

You will be working in a dynamic, creative and supportive team, which has a strong commitment to personal and professional development. You will be expected to demonstrate a good team working ethic and a positive, can-do approach to your work.

The role will involve carrying out a comprehensive range of IT Systems training, support of a Learning Management System and creation of electronic resources to support the Workforce Development Training offer.

We are looking for a well organised, calm and methodical person, with a flexible approach to cope with the demands of a busy working environment. You will need to have:

  • ability to plan and organise own workload, taking responsibility for delivery of tasks and a willingness to support colleagues in managing their workloads.
  • good IT skills, particularly Microsoft packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook etc.) and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • be experienced in delivering training for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for adult learners.

This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.

For an informal discussion only, please contact Susan Hubbard on 07921 493440 or email: susan.hubbard@suffolk.gov.uk

Please read the Job and Person Profile before applying for this job.
