An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Human Resources team. This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in the Human Resources field.
Your duties will be varied, primarily involving providing administrative support within the team, including responding to straightforward enquiries in person, over the telephone and via email/post, this may be in relation to recruitment, training or payroll.
You will also have the unique and exciting opportunity to provide specific support on recruitment and selection administration, including supporting managers and applicants in using the new online recruitment system and on occasion, sitting on job interview panels. In addition, you will also support on the administration relating to all training courses and particularly the development of the Councils e-learning system.
You will be the first point of contact for the HR & Payroll team, so you need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT skills and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent). No previous administrative experience is required, as full training will be provided.
This role can be based in our Melton (near Woodbridge) or Lowestoft Offices, dependent on the successful applicant’s preference. Please indicate your preference on your application form.
