*Within Suffolk Family Carers, this role is known as Information Hub Navigator, which is similar to a Customer Support Assistant*

Suffolk Family Carers is an innovative and creative charity, recognised nationally as the overall GSK Impact Award winner 2019. We work in partnership with over 100 organisations to deliver a range of services that impact positively on the lives of adult, young adult and young carers.

As part of the Information Hub you will be the first point of contact either by telephone or email. As Information Hub Navigator, you will help to navigate the family carer and / or professional around the services we offer internally and refer / signpost to external organisations to support them on their caring pathway.

You will have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills, show empathy with family carers who may be emotionally upset or distressed and work with them in a professional capacity.

This is a great opportunity to get involved with working in an information hub which is supporting the entire organisation to give clear, information, advice and guidance to all family carers.

There is flexibility around working hours as well as attractive employee benefits available to all staff. We hold staff and volunteers in high regard, listen and enable them to flourish and see their good ideas through to fruition.

Suffolk Family Carers is located on a rural business park, easily accessible from the A14 and 4 miles from Ipswich.

* £7,772 - £9,326 pa.
