We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to maintain and develop the work of an established, not for profit organisation that supports the health and social care sector in Suffolk. You will be part of and manage a small and friendly team.

Care Development East offers support to the health and social care sector, primarily in Suffolk, but also in the surrounding counties in East Anglia. Our aim is to ensure a confident and competent workforce, and therefore we look at workforce planning, staff development and organisational structure amongst others. We have been supporting the sector for over ten years and have developed our portfolio as the needs of the sector have changed.

We are looking for an organised, 'can do' person; someone who is proactive and solution focused; has experience of working with a range of partners and has a positive and innovative approach. In these challenging times, you will have proven ability to see the 'bigger picture' and seek opportunities to widen our impact and influence. You will also be able to respond to and anticipate the changing and emerging needs of the sector.

You will work as part of the team, providing day-to-day operational management for Care Development East as well as working to deliver workforce development objectives.

Please visit our website: www.caredevelopmenteast.co.uk to find out more about us.

If you wish to have an informal chat prior to submitting your application, please contact Liz Taylor, Chair of the Board on 07785 718900.

The job description and person specification can be downloaded from the related information section which will help you with your application.

To apply, please send your CV and supporting statement to Liz Taylor, Chair of the Board via email: lizatstratus@gmail.com

Interview date: 13 February 2020 and will comprise a presentation to a stakeholder panel as well as a formal interview.
