One Apprentice will be based in our Melton (near Woodbridge) offices and the other in our Lowestoft offices. Please indicate your preference on your application form.

One year training contract.

Apprenticeship start date: 11 September 2017.

These two exciting and unique apprenticeship opportunities will involve providing administrative support for the East Suffolk Communities Team, to assist in delivering the team’s work programmes which are based around Community Development, Community Safety and Community Health.

The projects you will be involved in could include working to reduce anti social behaviour to ensure communities are safe, helping communities have a greater say in their future, and supporting initiatives to improve health and well being, including mental health, dementia and support for carers.

Your administrative duties will include assisting in the arrangement of meetings, note taking, typing documents, working with data and supporting at events.

You should be an enthusiastic, positive individual with excellent communication skills, who is up for new challenges, curious about how things work and how you can help to make things work better.

You will have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and mathematics, with excellent IT skills and high standards of accuracy. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
