37 hpw. You will be expected to work across our Woodbridge and Lowestoft offices, although this post will be primarily based in Woodbridge.

Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Councils operate as joint service partners and we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated professionals to join our innovative Development Management Team. Our councils are leading the way when it comes to working in partnership. We have merged most of our services, including our planning services to ensure that we are delivering them in a high quality and cost effective way. This role will provide a great opportunity to develop a career as a leader within our team and as a key member of our forward looking partnership. You will take a position of significant seniority in the team, deputising for the Planning Development Manager and will have key responsibility for quality control in our decision making.
We consider this role to be pivotal to our service delivery, so you will need to be politically astute, corporately aware, well organised, a clear communicator and a proficient task manager. You will also be an experienced Development Management Planner with excellent report writing skills and experience in presenting to committees.
