As an ambassador for East Suffolk Housing, you will lead on all development projects e.g. Affordable Housing and facilitating the progress of the Lowestoft Area Action Plan. Your involvement in the planning, design, management direction and procurement of assigned development projects will be key to the success of the programme.

You will lead on assessing the viability of proposed schemes, representing the council with land owners and building relationships with the HCA in order to access additional sources of funding. As well as tendering for and managing the development agent contract, you will present to Cabinet on proposed schemes and manage the stakeholders to ensure on time and in budget project delivery.

You will have experience within a construction, property or design environment and a proven track record of implementation. With a detailed understanding of design and construction techniques, you will be qualified to degree level in a related field and have a positive approach to challenges and an ambition for innovation. A Prince 2 qualification or similar would be an advantage.
