Care Workers: Full time and Part time. £10 - £10.50 ph, Monday - Friday. For weekend working, we offer an enhanced pay rate of £11.50 -£12.00 (enhanced rates of time and half and double pay for all bank holidays). * Two-week shift pattern.
Supervisors: Full time (40hpw). £23,000 pa. Four-week shift pattern.
Mileage is paid at 30 pence per mile. In order to be considered for this position you must have a full driving licence and own transport.
We are Deben Willow Care based in Woodbridge. A privately-owned provider of care in the community looking for Community Care Workers to join our existing team. We are a large independent company that provisions service to Suffolk County Council, NHS services and a large private customer base. We provide care services 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.
As a member of our community care team you will visit clients in their own homes helping them to remain independent, support their mental wellbeing offering services including personal care, medication support, nutrition and fluid assistance, companionship, accessing the community, light housework. This list is not exhaustive, and we will support every customers need.
The role of the care supervisor is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field, including the assessment and review of individual services and the practical supervision, instruction and support of our community care workers.
Field care supervisors are expected to spend the majority of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work.
This role will require covering the on-call & sickness cover alternate weekends on emergency basis. Care calls can be in any area within the needs of the business. You will work alongside other field care supervisors working in pairs and covering a rotating shift pattern.
*Our rates of pay are starting rates that you will receive from your first shift.
