You will lead the Electoral Services team playing a key role in shaping and delivering our exciting agenda. You will be responsible for coordinating the approach to how we deliver our Electoral Service to ensure we continuously improve, develop our skills and achieve our performance targets.
We have specialist electoral knowledge within the team. Therefore, you will need the ability to develop your knowledge but do not require this specialist knowledge in order to apply.
You will be someone with strong team leader / manager experience, with well-developed influencing and problem-solving skills. You will have a flexible approach to work with a 'can do' attitude and will be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with a wide range of people and organisations in a political environment.
Previous experience of successfully managing and delivering projects is essential.
