Would you like to support your community to grow, develop and achieve? Do you have experience leading multi-agency partnerships and a vision and commitment to delivering key economic and community priorities? We are looking for a new Independent Chair of Leiston Together to drive and realise these ambitions.
If you are an experienced collegial mediator and negotiator with demonstrable skills in driving change with experience of supporting and coaching stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Our ideal candidate is Influential and persuasive, with high level of personal integrity and has previously led teams or services at a senior level.
Leiston is a town that has big ambitions, big challenges and big opportunities ahead with the potential Sizewell C development, the aftermath of Covid-19 and existing needs of the community. Leiston Together was formed to deliver the ambitions of local people through a community led multi agency partnership getting right to the heart of the issues. Critical to this process is the role of the Independent Chair and drive the changes needed and to harness the opportunities in the town in the years to come.
The Leiston Together Board manages and monitors a programme to enable the delivery of six key priorities for the town - Destination Leiston, Leiston People, Leiston Means Business, Leiston Future, Digital Leiston and Greener Leiston.
