All families can face challenges in day-to-day life, from relationship breakdowns to issues such as ill health or unemployment and there are times when it is not always clear where to go for help. In this role you will provide and co-ordinate support to families with chaotic and complex lives, to assist them to make positive and sustainable changes.

Working with Suffolk Family Focus, a partnership between East Suffolk Council, NHS, Police, voluntary sector, Job Centre Plus and others, you will work together to help families in need to support a clear, joined up approach and one plan that sets out what support each family will receive from a range of organisations, based on the families collective needs.

You will act as a single point of contact for individuals and families to co-ordinate and lead a multi-agency package of support with the aim of overcoming negative behaviours and tackle complex and challenging issues, such as anti-social behaviour, absenteeism from school, domestic abuse, financial exclusion and worklessness.

You will have relevant experience of working with multi-agency partnerships, experience of working with individuals with multiple, complex demands, and a working knowledge of relevant key legislation.
