A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Services team. This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in Customer Services field.

The role consists of working as part of a close knit, highly skilled dynamic team. Your job will be to deliver an outstanding customer experience by providing advice and resolving any and all customer queries. Contact from our customers is made via various different channels, telephone, face to face and email to name a few. The contact from Customers to the Customer Services team is both varied and diverse and you will liaise with all services and departments within the council.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for ICT and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades 4 -9/Grade C and above (or equivalent) including English and Maths. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided, however a passion to be a positive and professional ambassador for the council and a desire to provide the best experience for our customers is a must.

**Due to the current situation, all selection interviews will be completed virtually via Skype. We are aiming for this apprenticeship position to start in approximately mid/late September 2020, but this timeframe will need to be regularly re-assessed in line with the current situation and any government guidance that is released around Covid-19.
