Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority is at the frontline of food safety, animal and public health control, not only for the UK, but also for the European Union.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior ICT Technician to join the team to provide ICT support to Port Health staff and other external customers.

Your responsibilities will include providing first line technical support for telephony, printers, hardware, user devices and desktop applications, maintaining technical documentation and carrying out routine system administration tasks.

You will have excellent knowledge of operational ICT platforms and applications and ideally technical experience gained within a similar role. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, high levels of attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of the wider ICT team.  

Interested?

Ideally, you will have A levels / NVQ 3 in IT or a related subject, be keen to learn and have a passion for all things IT.
