We are looking for an Area Planning and Enforcement Officer, based in our Lowestoft offices. You will have your own caseload, present cases to committee and carry out planning and / or enforcement visits, site surveys and inspections. Your responsibilities will primarily focus upon parts of the Waveney district and may on occasion involve the Suffolk Coastal district.

You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and written communication skills and show a particular flair for negotiation and influencing. You will also be experienced in handling planning applications and appeals.

Our districts boast a fantastic coastline and numerous market towns and villages, all within a sensitive cultural and environmental landscape that has some significant growth and regeneration challenges.
