Suffolk Sport, the County Sports Partnership for Suffolk, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Development Officer to the support on Health and Wellbeing related projects.
Your role will involve supporting Suffolk Sport to deliver programmes and projects with the aim of increasing participation in physical activity and sport across the county of Suffolk, particularly inactive people with disabilities and long term health conditions.
Your responsibilities will include promoting the work of Suffolk Sport, providing excellent customer service and regular communications to participants and key partners and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of projects.
You will have an awareness of sports development issues and an understanding of the issues around achieving increased levels of participation amongst people with disabilities and long term health conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also be essential to this role, as well as good planning, organisation, team work and administrative skills
