Based in either Melton (near Woodbridge) or Lowestoft.
Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Councils have enjoyed 10 years of successful shared partnership working, delivering services to over 250,000 people. This is an exciting time to be joining, with our organisation becoming one single 'Super District' council for east Suffolk in April 2019.
Following the promotion of the former postholder we wish to recruit a talented individual to join our leadership team and to manage all aspects of the Customer Services and Communications / Marketing areas. You will be encouraged to innovate, lead on how we can digitise services for residents, and explore how new communication channels can be used to engage with customers, residents and businesses.
You must have leadership skills and passion for service to really embed a customer-focused culture. You must be confident in managing complex and challenging environments and workloads and you will also have high-level relationship management skills and a real commitment and motivation for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
If you have the ability to lead, inspire, motivate and manage in our fast-paced environment and can command the trust of Councillors and partners, then we want to hear from you.
