Suffolk Coastal District Council and Waveney District Council are leading the way when it comes to working in partnership and are committed to improving the quality of life for everyone living in, working in, and visiting east Suffolk. Our councils are an exciting place to work and a great place to make a real difference to people's lives.
Applications are sought from students currently enrolled on a CIEH-accredited environmental health degree course for a paid 12-month placement starting from August 2017.
Based at Suffolk Coastal District Council's offices in Melton (near Woodbridge) you will undertake a structured training placement to ensure that you meet the requirements of the CIEH Portfolio of Professional Practice, your own University's placement requirements and our own in-house requirements.
