Forget everything you think you know about the public sector. This is a career where you can make ideas a reality and improve the lives of tens of thousands of people. Along the way, you will have a lot of fun and work with some of the most interesting and ambitious people around.

But let’s start at the beginning. The first step is to take part in the Suffolk Public Sector Graduate Programme. Bringing together eight organisations including local councils and the police, this scheme is aimed at top-class graduates like yourself and aims to develop our future generation of leaders.

Over the two year programme, you will gain a deep understanding of how the public sector thinks and works via four stimulating placements. The placements will give an opportunity to work in areas such as:

  • Policy
  • Digital design
  • Housing
  • Data analysis
  • Corporate Strategy
  • HR
  • Adult and Children’s Services.

And wherever your future takes you, you will leave with an ILM level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management.

To join us, you will need at least a 2.2 degree in any subject and need to be full of life, because the journey of your lifetime begins here!

See our recruitment brochure and the Job and Person Profile before applying.

Closing date: 1pm, 14 May 2017.
Interview date: 30 June 2017.
