The Housing Needs Team currently has an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their team. This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in the housing field.

The Housing Needs team is responsible for providing the delivery of housing related services for people in housing needThey are involved with the whole spectrum of housing need which includes homelessness / housing advice and administering the Housing Waiting List.

As part of your role, you will provide administrative and customer service support to the Housing Options Team, including data input and assisting with telephone and email queries. Your responsibilities will also include the initial response and investigation of homelessness claims, arranging suitable accommodation for these individuals and researching opportunities for permanent housing.

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, who is educated to GCSE level or equivalent with high standards of numeracy and accuracy. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
