The Seckford Education Trust is a developing and forward thinking multi-academy trust. We are an ambitious community and recognise the impact of exceptional staff on the development of our positive and engaged team.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, progressive IT Manager to join us, to lead our IT Department across the organisation at an exciting time of change, as we bring our IT function in-house (it currently operates as part of a shared service across the Seckford Foundation).

The role will focus largely on ensuring the effective and innovative use of IT for teaching and learning and business administration.  You will be expected to further develop and implement the trust’s digital strategy, in consultation with all major stakeholders, as well as overseeing, maintaining and developing all IT support services within the trust.

You will have a strong IT background, with sound systems (SIS / MRS / CRM) experience.  You must have an understanding of the implication of business processes and change at a technical level, together with knowledge and experience of data protection legislation and principles of data confidentiality and data security.  Experience of running an ICT function in a large academic or complex environment would be an advantage.

For an informal conversation about the role, please contact HR in the first instance on (01394) 615167.

For more information about our organisation, and to apply for this role please visit: www.seckfordeducation.org.uk/vacancies/

Please return your completed application form by email to: hr@seckford-foundation.org.uk, or by post to: HR Department, Seckford Foundation, Marryott House, Burkitt Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 4JJ.

Interviews:  w/c 28 June 2021.

The Seckford Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and candidates will be subject to an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
