An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with Keystone Development Trust as a Learning Mentor.
Keystone Development Trust, based in Thetford, was set up in 2006 to provide sustainable community development and operates across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge. This role is part of the BBO Community Connections project, a partnership between 11 local organisations, led by TCHC. The project has been funded as part of the Building Better Opportunities programme and is a project jointly funded by the Community Lottery fund and the European Social fund.
The office base for this post is St Johns Mildenhall but some travel to Brandon and Thetford will be expected, along with attending partnership meetings within the wider partnership area. The work will be carried out within the service location and in the community; the ability to travel is essential.
We are now recruiting a Learning Mentor to work on the BBO project supporting those who are most disadvantaged in the labour market to move towards and into sustained employment or education.
The key role of the Learning Mentor is to support participants in overcoming barriers to learning and work in order to achieve their full potential. This position requires experience of working with vulnerable and challenging people and will expect the post holder to manage their own case load and plan, deliver and measure interventions to support the participants they work with.
Please send CVs and a covering letter to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call (01842) 768300 for further information.
Interview date: 28 June 2019 (at the Innovation Centre, Thetford).
