We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education across both Key Stages.
- be passionate about teaching your subject
- be committed to motivating students to reach their full potential
- contribute to our whole school development and the raising of standards.
Religious Studies has been delivered by colleagues in the Humanities Faculty and we are excited to be able to appoint a subject specialist with the hope of introducing a GCSE qualification in the future.
You will be joining a successful, hard-working and supportive faculty and working with the rest of the team in improving student outcomes further. Due to the size of the school and the nature of the timetable, colleagues may need to be able to offer a second subject within the faculty area.
You will ideally be looking to contribute to the extra-curricular programme and able to demonstrate an innovative and interactive style of teaching.
This post would be suitable for an NQT or a colleague seeking to broaden their experience.
Claydon High School, in liaison with local providers, provide an excellent support programme for newly appointed staff.
NQTs will be paid for working in July if they are available to come into school at the end of the summer term.
Claydon High School is a popular, mixed, comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich, easily accessed from the A12 and A14. We pride ourselves on our positive hardworking ethos and collegiate atmosphere.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Interview date: w/c 7 May 2019.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts.
