SENDAT is a multi-academy trust focusing provision for a range of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Priory School, a founder member of SENDAT, is an academy special school, judged as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in November 2018. Priory currently has 189 places including 23 residential places. The age range is 5 - 18.
Priory School continues to expand its student roll and we now seek an additional enthusiastic and inspirational SEND teacher who is able to take responsibility for a sixth form tutor group and deliver outstanding SEND teaching across the BTEC and ASDAN curricula.
Applications from NQTs who wish to develop their career and have the potential to grow quickly into a teaching role within a Special Needs environment will be welcome.
SENDAT has a strong ethos for developing core literacy and numeracy whilst also developing the 'whole child', promoting self-esteem, confidence and social skills.
