One year training contract.

This role can be based in our Melton (near Woodbridge) or Lowestoft offices, dependent on your preference. Please indicate your preference on your application form.

This exciting apprenticeship opportunity will involve providing administrative support to the Planning and Building Control Teams. This will include processing planning and building regulation applications using the councils’ computer systems, answering the telephone, filing, scanning and preparation of mail shots. You may also get the opportunity to spend time with officers within the service area to look at the more technical side of the team’s work.

You will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) with excellent communication and IT skills and high standards of numeracy and accuracy. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
