28.75 hpw, 8.30am - midday and 1pm - 3.15pm, term time only.

Fixed term until August 2020.

Required from November 2019 or ASAP afterwards.

We are looking to appoint a reliable, committed and capable Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support in the classroom with an individual pupil in Lower KS2 who has an EHCP (SEND).

Ideally, you should offer:

  • experience of working with children with additional needs
  • good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum level of GCSE mathematics and English or equivalent is essential).

You will need to:

  • be flexible and adaptable
  • be calm, patient, but firm
  • have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • be able to use your own initiative, as well as being able to work as part of a team.
