20 hpw, 52 weeks per year. There is a need to occasionally work outside of standard school hours as required, such as evening or weekends.

Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to look after the academy site. You will ensure the provision of high-quality maintenance, security and cleanliness of the academy buildings and grounds.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that pupils, staff and visitors have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work in.

This role will include undertaking a variety of duties, including general maintenance tasks and cleaning.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that equipment is in order, liaising with contractors and other external visitors in order to carry out work required and be available for lettings and call outs.

There is a requirement to work flexibly with the Site Supervisor at the Diamond Academy situated next to Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery to ensure that both sites are maintained and managed as required.

This is a physically demanding role involving patrolling the campus and undertaking physical tasks such as moving furniture, general DIY and maintenance. You must be able to undertake basic maintenance tasks and have a general understanding of health and safety procedures. The ability to use a computer would be a distinct advantage. Full training and support will be provided.

Experience of working within a school environment or a similar role would also be advantageous but is not essential.

You will be required to undertake employment checks including an enhanced DBS with children's barred list check prior to commencing this role.
