Contract Type: Fixed term for 24 months.

Other key information: Will require shift working over evenings and weekends (opening hours M - F 16:30 - 21:30, S/S 09:00 – 18:00) and the desire to learn and develop

What you could be part of…

The Council has developed a relationship with Framingham Earl High School and from April 2020 will take over the management of the Community Sports Centre at the site. We will put our expertise and experience of running dual-use sports facilities to good use, bringing new customers to the centre.  Our Recreation Assistant team will ensure the facilities are kept safe for all our users and gives you the ability to develop within the leisure industry.

 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Setting up activities within the centre
  • Assisting with show rounds from the public and other customers
  • Ensuring the centre is well run and ready for business
  • Staffing reception and responding to customer queries

 

You must have…

….or be prepared to complete a First Aid and Health & Safety qualifications. Previous experience in a leisure centre is desirable. You must have good concentration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our customers.
