Since its original formation in 1996 as Suffolk Sport, Active Suffolk has gone from strength to strength and has developed its role and reputation as a key player in shaping the current and future provision of sport and physical activity across Suffolk. Active Suffolk operates as an independent organisation with an independent Board but also benefits from a formal hosting arrangement with East Suffolk Council.
We are looking to recruit a new Partnership Director who has the passion and drive to lead our organisation into the next phase of its strategic plan. Your role will be pivotal in the development, setting and monitoring of the Active Suffolk vision, business, service and team plans. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of all programmes and projects whilst being accountable for operational performance and achievement.
We are therefore seeking an outstanding strategic leader with significant experience at a senior level and with excellent communication skills to inspire, coach and motivate the Active Suffolk Team. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive and driven and someone who can establish and maintain strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
