Required from September 2020.

* Starting range £50,026 - £53,856. A relocation allowance is available by negotiation for a suitable candidate.

As God's family we nurture and inspire our children by broadening their horizons as they learn. Through rich and varied experiences, we enable them to be a loving and caring influence on our world.

St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School is a welcoming and vibrant primary school situated in Lowestoft. Staff, parents and Governors are very proud of the school and recognise it is a delightful place to grow and learn.

The school was a founding member in May 2016 of the St John the Baptist Catholic Multi Academy Trust and you will have the opportunity to shape both the school and contribute to the future success of the Trust. The school shares an Executive Head with another local Catholic school who will provide extensive support to the Head of School. There is a tradition of long-established joint support between the two schools and the aspiration to share more leadership, staffing, CPD and vision to be the best possible environments for learning, growth and spiritual development.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead on the rapid improvement already taking place and to join a strong Multi Academy Trust committed to staff development in a vibrant school.

The Directors and Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, ethos driven and capable leader who is a practicing Catholic to take the helm of our happy and community centred Catholic school.

We welcome applications from candidates at the cusp of school Leadership, as well as established leaders. The successful Head of School will have the extensive support of the Executive Headteacher and the wider Trust, such as the CEO and Director of School Improvement.

We are happy to be flexible in looking for the right candidate and will offer a relocation package, a discussion about the starting date or consider fixed term secondments by negotiation.

Preliminary visits to the school are welcome by arrangement with the Executive Headteacher Priscilla Crane via email: pcrane@sjbcmat.org.uk

For an application form and further details, please visit our MAT website: www.stjohnthebaptist-cmat.org.uk or the school website: www.stmarysrcps.com

Interview date: 10 / 11 March 2020.

Application forms should be returned via email to: recruitment@sjbcmat.org.uk or by post to: John Eady, Operations Manager, St John the Baptist CMAT, Surrey Street, Norwich, NR1 3PB.

Applicants should be practicing Catholics supportive of our ethos. St John the Baptist CMAT welcomes applications from members of minority ethnic communities and those with disabilities. The MAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be subject to DBS checks along with relevant employment checks.
