Required from 1 September 2019.

Due to the promotion of our current Deputy Principal, Jenny Milsom, to Principal we are now seeking an innovative, talented and experienced leader to join our outstanding sixth form college from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional professional seeking to progress their career in a supportive, positive and dynamic environment.

You will already be a successful manager and leader, with the commitment, energy and passion to help shape the next stage of the college's development. Your middle or senior management experience will have been gained in a college or secondary school with significant 16 - 19 A level and vocational provision, including an element of special education. You will bring clarity of vision, be a creative and strategic thinker and be capable of inspiring trust in students and staff. You will have the confidence to deputise for the Principal, demonstrating a collaborative management style when working with the Senior Leadership Team, students, parents, staff and governors.

One is the only outstanding sixth form college in Suffolk, offering 2000 students an inclusive and fresh approach to learning. We provide an inspirational environment, dedicated to offering students first class teaching, enrichment opportunities, resources and support whilst they study with us. Indeed, students' success is our priority, as demonstrated by our 'Outstanding' Ofsted grading and our ranking of 1st in the Government's 2016 Performance Tables for progress or value added in all three categories (A Level, Academic and Vocational) across Suffolk and Norfolk.

The college is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students and staff and expects all members of the college community, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. The college actively promotes equality and diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

If you are interested in joining our amazing team, please download and complete the application documentation from this webpage. Alternatively, please contact Gail Ollason, Director of HR, at: hr@suffolkone.ac.uk or call (01473) 556600 for an application pack.
